The Pond (behind Apple Ford)

The Maryland Model Yacht Club holds races the third Saturday of each month from March to November. For the 2011 Season, we race at "THE POND", near Apple Ford Dealership in Columbia, MD. (directions below).

 Race Schedule:
Every 3rd Sat. from March through November we race:
Victoria Class:
9:30am - 11:30am
East Coast 12 Meter Class:
12:00am -  2:00pm
U.S. One Meter Class:
2:30pm -  4:30pm
(Skippers meeting 30 min. before race)

                Driving:

  Travel on interstate 95 in the direction of Maryland Rt 175.
  - turn onto Rt 175 in the direction Columbia.
  - turn south (left) on to Snowden River Parkway
  -  at the first light, turn right on McGaw Road
  -  at the first intersection turn right on Stanford Blvd - travel less than a mile and MMYCs Pond is on the left.
