Maryland Model Yacht Club

This is the Official Web site of the Maryland Model Yacht Club.

We are an informal bunch of local sailors who get together on a monthly basis for racing, fun, and camaraderie. We have no formal club structure or officers and try to keep things as low-key as possible. The club, founded on a philosophy of 'Inclusion' not 'Exclusion', turns no one away, and requires no prerequisites or "social standing" to join us in the sailing of Model Yachts. We sail three classes including the Victoria , the East Coast 12 Meter , and the US One Meter (primarily ODOM s). If you are new to Model Yachting you may wish to start with the Introduction , then be sure to visit the American Model Yachting Association to learn everything about the sport. Be sure to come back and see where we sail and check the Calendar for race dates. Club Information will tell you if there is a member near you and help to choose an available frequency for your new boat.
